Are the Security Guards SIA approved?

Yes, all the security guards available through Security Asapp are SIA (Security Industry Authority) approved.
They are trained professionals who have undergone rigorous background checks and are licensed to provide security services.

What security measures should I have in my business?

Yes, Security Asapp operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We understand that security needs can arise at any time, so we ensure that our services are readily accessible whenever you need them.

How do I sign up for Security Asapp?

How are payments handled on Security Asapp?

Payments for Security Asapp services are processed securely through the app.
You can choose from various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, mobile wallets, or other options depending on your location.

What types of security can I access using Security Asapp?

Response security: This is the type of security where we respond to emergency situations. Clients press the panic button in a distressed situation for the quick response of security operatives. Intervention should be quick and designed to eliminate risk and defuse tensions.
Last-minute bookings for private security services such as Door supervision, crowd control, manned guarding security, static security, mobile security, and security patrol. Clients need to cover a shift when they are missing an operative.
Type of operatives: Security Guards, Door supervisors, close protection operatives (male and female).

How does Security Asapp identify vulnerabilities?

Risk assessments are key to ensuring the safety of your business, your staff and members of the public, they can also prevent you from being prosecuted in case of an accident or an incident. ( you will be asked about the measure you have put in place to prevent it from happening).
Security ASAPP can send a security consultant to your premises, identify your security breaches and advise you on the best practice for your business.

Fill up all the information required and don’t forget to share your location so we can call you when there is a job near you.

What qualifications do I need to become a security guard on Security Asapp?

To be eligible as a security guard on Security Asapp, you must hold a valid and up-to-date Security Industry Authority (SIA) license.
Additionally, relevant work experience in the security industry will be beneficial.

How do I receive security guard requests through the app?

Once your profile is approved, you will receive security guard requests through the app's notification system.
When a user requires security services in your vicinity, you will be notified and can choose to accept or decline the request based on your availability.

Can I choose the locations where I want to provide security services?

Yes, you can select preferred areas or locations where you would like to offer security services.
Security Asapp will prioritise matching you with users who require security in those chosen areas.

How do I communicate with users who hire me for security services?

The app includes a built-in chat feature that allows you to communicate with users who have hired you for security services.
You can discuss details, ask for specific instructions, or address any concerns through this secure messaging platform.

Are any performance metrics or ratings impacting my job opportunities within the app?

Security Asapp collects ratings from Clients after each mission.
It won’t be shared publicly but will be analysed by our teams so we can follow up with our operatives.
Clients can also offer tips if they are really happy with the service.
Our best operatives will be rewarded by Security Asapp.

How can I increase my ratings?

Customer service is key, you should always wonder how you can keep the clients happy and make him want to book you again or to reward you with a tip.
If you are dealing with an emergency, you must ensure that you protect the business interest by defusing the situation and protecting goods and people involved.
Fighting would put you and the business at risk so you must be patient and use SIA approved techniques to deal with the situation.
If you operate a regular shift, be friendly, approachable, helpful, dress smartly it reduces chances to be targeted by angry customers and create an environment where clients can increase their number of customers or customer spending.

How can I get more jobs on the app?

Ensure you filled all the information accurately during the onboarding.
Keep your location on always on so we can identify where you are.
This is the only way we can contact you for jobs near you.
Spread the word with your local businesses as they can become part of the community Asapp.

Can I provide security services without SIA badge?

We are only allowing SIA licensed security guards, door supervisors or close protection officers to provide their services to the ASAPP community.
If you wish to become a SIA operative, you must look for a SIA training centre, pass your certificate and apply with the SIA (Security Industry Authority).
The full process can take between 4 to 8 weeks and cost between £400 to £600 (£200 to £300 for the training centre and £220 for the SIA application).
Once you receive your SIA badge you can join the community Asapp within minutes.

How will Security Asapp use information provided in my profile?

Information collected during your registration cannot be shared with a third party unless it is to provide the service and only when required.
All video and audio evidence collected are stored in our secure server.
They do not stay on the mobile phone device that collected it and we are only releasing this evidence if required by local authorities for further investigation. See our privacy policy
